alaplaya Gaming Community Set to Triple in Size by the End of 2010 with Five MMO Titles for North American Players

burda:ic, a leading European publisher of free-to-play online games, today announced plans to bring their alaplaya gaming portal to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico in 2010. The first major addition to the portal, which currently features popular MMOs like Florensia and Fantasy Tennis, will arrive this summer with the launch of Tactical Action MMOG Land of Chaos Online (LOCO) from South Korean F2P developer Danal. By combining real-time strategy elements with third-person combat and a deep RPG foundation, LOCO will provide players with an action-packed gameplay experience.

LOCO features a roster of 30 unique characters from competing factions that include the Army of Hell and the Forces of Nature.
