I installed it, but I don’t see anything! Where is the Game Client?

I installed it, but I don’t see anything! Where is the Game Client?

The Game Client runs quietly minimized to your taskbar. Look for the moki icon near your clock. (See screen shot below)

How can I see how many items I’ve uploaded?

Simply right-click on the moki icon and select the “Statistics” option. You will see a menu like the one below. (See screen shot below)

It will popup the Statistics window. (see screen shot below)

Currently your hamster will need to log in with their own username and password. Simply select the "Log Out" option from the menu. Your hamster can then log into mmolecule from that same menu.

My virus protection tells me the setup is running a possibly dangerous script during setup. What is it doing?

The final step in the setup process uses a VB script to run the client. This is normal; the image below shows a sample from the McAfee anti-virus software. You can view the script under the mmolecule install directory.

In what ways does the Game Client access the internet?

The Game Client accesses the internet to authorize your account, retrieve monitoring information from mmolecule’s servers and to upload game information. No personal information other than your username and password is transmitted by the client.

Is an account required to use the Game Client?

Yes. This is both to ensure accurate uploads and prevent malicious intrusions.

How can I uninstall the Game Client?

The Game Client can be uninstalled via the Add/Remove Programs menu in your Control Panel.

How can I find out if there is a new version of the Game Client available?

You can always download a new version of the client; however, it automatically checks for a new version every time you run it.

How do I see which user I'm logged in as?

Simply mouse over the moki icon in your system tray. The currently logged in user will appear in the text next to "mmolecule Game Client - ". (see screen shot below)
